This place is perfect for lovely romantic and peaceful weekend away with your partner. It's also great for the family. It's literally right on the water with an amazing view. I would definately go back there. Thank you very much.

Hi Jane, Happy New Year! Just a quick note to thank you for allowing us to have the weekend before Christmas at Hideaway. We had a fabulous weekend with a large family Christmas gathering on the Sunday. The house is amazing and suited our situation perfectly. I realise that there was a booking misunderstanding and am very appreciative of you honouring our booking. We made the most of your beautiful house knowing we would not be able to rent it for 2 nights over the Christmas break again.

We were looking for a nice and quite place close to Sydney for the long weekend. I am so happy that we went to the "Hideaway by the Lake" which is a great place for couples. Its close to Sydney (only 1.5 hrs drive), literally next to the lake (East Lake Macquarie), and a tranquil place for weekend retreat. The house is self contained (including SPA, BBQ, Canoes etc) and the verandah is only 4 metres from the lake water. You can see water from almost every corner of the house. We loved our two nights stay at the "Hide away by the Lake" and will definitely go back there in future.
